Employment Practices Liability


Employment Practices Liability (EPL) provides protection for an employer against allegations made employees. It covers discrimination (age, sex, race, disability, etc.), wrongful termination of employment, sexual harassment, and other employment-related allegations.
It covers company, including its Directors and Officers. The policy responds to all labour cases are brought against the company by advancing Defence Cost and Settlement in case of judements the company.
Usual Cases are: Unfair dismissal; Sexual harassment; Discrimination and Failure to employ.
These are brought at: The CCMA, Bargaining Council, Labour Court and Arbitration Proceeding.
